What is your difficulty in learning Mandarin?

Listening: I hope to listen more attentively in class.
Oral: I hope to be able to have a short conversation by the end of the year without stumbling on any words.
Reading: I hope I can read a short story in only characters by the end of this year.
Character Writing: I wish to be able to write a short story in neat, eligible characters.
Classroom participation: Even though I participate a lot in class, I hope to be able to answer all the questions.
For achieving my goal, I would like to do:
Listening: I will not talk to my friends when the teacher is talking.
Oral: I will try my best to speak as much mandarin as possible in class.
Reading: When I am reading something with 'pin yin' on the top, I will try to read all the characters possible.
Character Writing: I will practice writing characters before every dictation.
Classroom participation: I will listen carefully to all the questions and I will learn from my mistakes and I won't repeat them.
